Qigong (pronounced ‘chee gong’) is the ancient Chinese wellness practice that reduces stress and increases vitality. Through mindful movement, breathing practices, and self massage, it balances and strengthens the energy of the body, mind, and emotions. Qigong is a moving meditation, a gentle but powerful form of exercise that is fluid, strengthening, and integrative. This style of Qigong combines breathing practices, postures, stretching and strengthening exercises, flowing meditative movement, and mental focus. No experience is necessary for this introductory class!

When: Sunday mornings at 10 am
Dates: September 11, 18 and 25
Cost: $13 per class and it is drop-in

Leslie Dworkin, MFA, RYTLeslie has been teaching in the field of movement for over 20 years as a professional dance artist, an educator at many universities throughout the U.S., and as a qigong instructor. As a certified instructor, she has studied with two of America’s most celebrated qigong and tai chi teachers—Lee Holden and Master Li Junfeng. Leslie is a licensed massage therapist and has an integrative bodywork practice in Dayton and Cincinnati.
